OMG, late to the party but this is some of the best occult infused doom stoner tackle I've ever heard. Reference points include Sabbath (obvs), especially with the Ozzy-esque vocals but there's also the melodiousness of early Heep mixing with a more contemporary occult rock sound. It starts in the 70's and makes it to the present day. The riffs are huge but it's their way with a hook that elevates this from your average doom/stoner fare. Very wonderful indeed!

There's been quite a few line up changes compared to the first album but it has lead to a more professional and honed sound, the lyrics are miles better and the solos are great. There's a nice variety of tracks too with more stoner tracks like The Sleeper to the bluesy and more straight up rock Pity Pie.

Songs 1&2 are the usual fuzz-by-numbers with bright clean vocals, and Kings of the Stone Age is a bit annoying to be honest. Thankfully, the rest of the LP departs from this and has much more interesting sounds to offer. Tumbleweed nearly made my favourite song, but then I heard Domesday Call which is just a whole new level - I love its bass line, both in terms of sound and style, and everything else about the song is perfect, breaking into a spaced out jam, a high point of Stonerror.
